I am a Professor of Applied Probability in the School of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Nottingham.



Research

My research mostly involves aspects of stochastic epidemic models, including analysing model behaviour, and developing statistical methodology to analyse data sets from disease outbreaks.  I am also interested in applied probability and population modelling in a wider sense.  More information is available here:
