The quiz does not represent prerequisites for the course, and not all the questions are relevant in detail. For example, we will not actually do much (if any) differentiation.
Probably the most important questions on the quiz are questions 9-12 about sketching graphs, since for models of one or two interacting variables (populations, genes, or whatever), being able to sketch certain graphs derived from the models allows you to understand a lot about the dynamics of the system in question. I will also spend some time in the course going over how to sketch those graphs.

You'll see a number of simple models there for population growth and simple genetic feedback loops which can be analysed just from a graph.
