BayesComp 2018

26-28 March 2018, Barcelona, Spain.

About Bayes Comp

Bayes Comp is a biennial conference sponsored by the ISBA section of the same name. The conference and the section both aim to promote original research into computational methods for inference and decision making and to encourage the use of frontier computational tools among practitioners, the development of adapted software, languages, platforms, and dedicated machines, and to translate and disseminate methods developed in other disciplines among statisticians.

Bayes Comp is current incarnation of the popular MCMSki series of conferences, and Bayes Comp 2018 is the first edition of this new conference series.

Location

The workshop will take place in the Ciutadella Campus of UPF (Roger de Llúria building; rooms 40.002 and 40.S02), which is less than 10 minutes walk from Barceloneta beach and from the picturesque El Born neighbourhood.

Bayes Comp will start on the morning of Monday 26th of March and finish in the evening of Wednesday 28th of March.
