Thesis Title Quantum inverse scattering method and affine Hecke algebras
Thesis Abstract The project lies at the intersection of modern mathematical physics, algebra and number theory, and studies a general equivalence of the two approaches to representation theory of affine Hecke algebras. The first is based on geometric representation theory, and the second is motivated by the QISM and uses methods of harmonic analysis. In my work I am planning to study geometrical and topological aspects of the representation theory of Hecke algebras, including equivariant cohomology of cotangent bundles of Schubert varieties and constructing equivariant volumes and their deformations. The developments in these directions should provide exciting connections to infinite-dimensional analysis, arithmetic geomtery and algebraic topology.
