Welcome to Maths for Life
This course will introduce mathematical modelling and mathematical systems biology to life scientists working in an industrial context.
Programme
Four days combining lectures with supervised hands-on practical exercises using biological examples, allowing participants to try out modelling techniques in a friendly, supportive environment.
Tutors
Dr Nick Monk, Dr Markus Owen (Mathematical Sciences, University of Nottingham), and Dr Dov Stekel (Biosciences, University of Nottingham).
Venue
The University Park Campus of the University of Nottingham. Accommodation will be provided in Halls of Residence on Campus.
Fees
£800, including meals and three nights' accommodation.
